RESEARCH
The goal of our research program is to optimize practical, evidence-based exercise interventions to maximize health-related benefits across the lifespan and in people with neurological disorders. We achieve this goal by developing and evaluating exercise programs that provide both clinically relevant data for the scientific community while maximizing individual health and wellness benefits for participants. Our research program focuses primarily on investigating High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) as a safe and effective means for increasing physical fitness in healthy, aging, and neurological populations. Our lab is dedicated to providing individuals with knowledge and experience that they can use to improve their fitness and health in daily living.
